Mission Bay High School is a Title 1 School in San Diego and a large number of our students come from low income families. We depend on outside support to keep our program growing and to offer rewarding musical experiences. These are our current needs this year:

Send our Preservationists to Preservation Hall!
We are gearing up for an amazing trip to New Orleans, the birth place of jazz. The band's reputation has earned them a spot at the one and only Preservation Hall! We have worked hard to spread our musical message in California and now we are ready to show our skills to the city that started it all. See how you can help us get there!

New CD in the works for Preservationists
The Preservationists are ready to get in the studio to record their new album. This recording will feature the debut of student works and a few by music director JP Balmat. This should be one of our finest outings yet! More info coming soon.

Sacramento Music Festival, a 20+ year tradition
The band has been traveling to the Sacramento Music Festival for the past 2 decades. We are happy to be participating again under the new "Preservationists" name. More info coming soon.
